This proposal aimed to establish a relationship between Lews Castle Grounds and the town centre of Stornoway by placing focus on the water which separates the two.

 

The town was brought closer to the water with the erection of more buildings. The harbour would be brought to life once again with the proposal of more berths reducing the expanse of inactive water and land between the two sides of the harbour.
